Jeanne Wagner ~ Lead Vocals
After getting her degree in Music Business from Berkelee Music College, she had planned on moving to California as an A&R intern for Universal Music Group. However, due to circumstances beyond her control, she remained in Montana. Jeanne has continued to express her love of music here, hosting and judging vocal competitions and managing local talent. Active in the Montana local scene for 15+ years, she performed statewide with Marc Anthony & 70's Rewind, had a variety show called Las Vegas time machine, and was also a performer for Las Vegas Legends in Concert. She has also performed many solo and duo shows with a number of local musicians over the years, as well as established herself as a well known karaoke and open jam hostess here in Billings. Jeanne is a high energy performer with great stage presence, drawing her multi-genre style from her greatest musical influences such as Janis Joplin, Beth Hart, Jewel, Lzzy Hale and Heart, among many others. She enjoys connecting and bringing local musicians together; and believes that music is something to be mutually enjoyed and encouraged, rather than a competition. Jeanne's goal is always to make sure everyone is having a great time no matter where she is. So you can be sure that at those family-friendly summer events, she will keep your kids entertained and happy, while you relax and enjoy the music. Catch her and the band at a show sometime, and listen to some of the great music that you may not hear that often, and that you've forgotten how much you loved. Greg Gordon ~ Lead Guitar/vocals Greg has been mastering the guitar since the young age of 8 yrs old, and was giving lessons by age 11. Fresh out of high school, he went on the road playing with a reformed Classics IV, playing the Sheraton Hotel circuit and assorted theaters with bands and 60's artists such as 'The Spinners' and 'Jan and Dean'. After returning to Montana in 1985, he joined with the well-known 'FM band' in Billings, which was a mainstay at places such as The Eagles Nest, Casino Club, Cassie's and The Boot in Cody...opening for numerous bands (including Rock n Roll Hall of Famer 'Chubby Checker') along with playing numerous street dances and outdoor events. After 3 yrs with FM Band, he took a long 15 yr break (for family reasons) and returned to the local scene 13 yrs ago to play with popular bands such as 'No Reply', 'Headbutter' and 'Black Velvet'. Greg is not only a skilled guitar player, but also a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, author, and just a well-rounded, humble, artist in general (he's great with a paintbrush too!) The classically trained, modern day savant has the adaptability to mold his leads to any style, whether it's by ear or written music. When you come to a Sanctuary show, Guitar Greg never disappoints! When you hear that awesome solo, you'll know what we mean. The guy makes it look so easy! Travis Howell ~ Bass Guitar Travis is a bass player all the way from Savannah, Georgia who has just recently moved to Montana. He started playing bass at age 14 and has been playing professionally since 2006. Shortly after graduating high school he moved to Atlanta Georgia to attend school at the Atlanta Institute of Music (AIM) where he studied his instrument specifically. It is hard for him to give any few influences as he is influenced by most everything he hears. It is his personal belief to grow as a musician it's important to study a vast majority of genres and in believing so, he has shared the stage with many different bands spanning many genres in Savannah and various cities in Georgia. Needless to say he is absolutely stoked to now play out west. Music aside, Travis is a very laid back guy who could make friends with anyone. Don't be afraid to approach him at a show as he is already looking forward to meeting ya! Bob Bell ~ Keyboard, Guitar, Vocals and Assorted Sounds and Noises... Bob has been playing the Billings area for 6 years. Prior to moving to Billings, he played for about 20 years in North Dakota. He has shared stages with bands such as; Diamond Rio, Jasmine Cain, Zwarte, Crash Ally and Sons of Poseidon. During his tenure in North Dakota, his band, Switch, recorded and released, on line, their only album, Grab Bag. Over the past 6 years in Billings, Bob has played countless venues and events as a member of a few popular local bands, Black Velvet and Seventh Ave. Bob very much looks forward to many more years entertaining Billings and the surrounding areas.
